Denise was born and raised in San Antonio. She has been in medicine for more than 10 years. She earned her Respiratory Therapy degree from UT Health and has worked in Neonatal ICU, Adult Critical Care, and Emergency Services. She later pursued nursing at Texas A&M International to build a more holistic foundation for patient care, completing her residency at Methodist Hospital in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit. She has managed and directed clinics throughout Texas and Indiana, and as IVI’s Director of Operations her focus now is delivering the best minimally invasive, outpatient vascular care for the San Antonio community. Outside the office she spends time with family, is active in her church, works out, plays pickleball, travels, and cooks. She loves stand-up comedy, documentaries, live concerts, and dancing.
